As if the hangover weren't bad enough, thousands of young women have the added humiliation of millions seeing their wasted debauchery on Facebook.
A user group entitled "30 Reasons Girls Should Call It a Night" has posted more than 4,800 photos of blotto gals on the town, over the toilet and in the bar, often with their panties showing and their faces three sheets to the wind.
Named for the tongue-in-cheek list of reasons it might be time to put down the cocktail and go home ("No. 27. One minute you're strutting your stuff, the next minute you're rolling on the ground and you can't seem to remember the transition"), the Facebook group claims more than 160,000 members.
...convinetly, MySpace.com isn't mention in this article from Fox about women putting drunk pictures of themselves up on facebook (MySpace is owned by Fox), that evil media magnet Rupert Murdoch is trying to take down facebook once and for all, this is his warning shot.
This is just more proof that today's media isn't catering stories to our generation, this "news" would be met with a collective sigh by anyone who does have a facebook profile or frequents the site.
Furthermore, I found several things about this article interesting, first; the title, facebook just exaserbates drunk photos, it doesn't cause them, these people aren't 'drunk' or 'out of control' while they are surfing facebook (I would assume). Second, what does a face that is "three sheets to the wind" look like (photo essay of drunk facebook photos; thanks Fox: (http://www.foxnews.com/photoessay/0,4644,2621,00.html))? I knew people could be three sheets to the wind, but faces?
Getting drunk and being stupid has always been part of young adulthood, get over it, this is not news...
